Too early to comment on impact of drought, floods: PM October 10, 2009
Hyderabad: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Friday said it was to too early to comment on what would be the impact of drought and floods on the country's economy.

"It is too early to comment," he said when a journalist wanted to know the impact the drought in some parts of the country and floods in others would have on the economic growth.

To another query, he said the growth projection for the current fiscal is 6.3 to 6.5 percent.

Asked if the economic stimulus package would be re-assessed in view of the inflationary pressures, Manmohan Singh said whatever was provided under the stimulus package would continue for the time being.
