Will 'The Wall' Dravid retire? March 8, 2012
New Delhi, March 8 India's prolific batsman Rahul Dravid has sparked speculation of retiring from Test cricket after calling a joint press conference along with Board president N. Srinivasan at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium Friday.

"Mr N Srinivasan, President, BCCI, and Mr Rahul Dravid will address the media at 12:30pm Friday, 9 March 2012, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru," the release read.

Dravid played made his Test debut against England at Lord's in 1996 and has played 164 matches scoring 13,288 runs at an average of 52.31.

The 'Wall', as he has been nicknamed for his unbreachable defence, retired from One-day cricket last year in England.

Rumours of his impending retirement have been rife after he failed miserably with the bat in the disastrous tour Down Under. He scored 194 runs in eight innings at an average of 24.25.
