Sheraton Bangalore bags ‘Best New Hotel Of The Year’ award

Setting new benchmarks in opening great hotels that deliver memorable guest experiences Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts announced that Sheraton Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway bagged the prestigious ‘Best New Hotel of The Year’ Award in the Upscale category at HICSA 2012. Since its launch in May 2011, the hotel has been gaining popularity both in the minds of travellers as well as the travel trade industry and has gradually emerged as a preferred choice for business as well as leisure. This is the second consecutive year that a hotel under the Starwood umbrella has won the coveted ‘Best New Hotel of The Year’ award at HICSA.
The Westin Mumbai Garden City won the award in the luxury category at HICSA last year.
The award was announced at the recently held Hotel Investment Conference South Asia in Mumbai, the largest growth and investment conference in South Asia for the hospitality industry and recognizes outstanding new hotel developments in the year within the region.
