New Delhi, (DMA Newsdesk): The long drive to this restaurant on the dusty mall stretch of Sec 127 on the Greater Noida Highway was worth it. The ambience was as surreal and inviting as the website of the restaurant promised.

A classical example of an architectural marvel, The People Tree restaurant situated in IHDP Business Park with its Zen design influences and vast open spaces and minimalist interiors is a perfect place to pig out.

Though, the vegetarian soup tasted just right on a chilly evening but it was a tad heavy on cornflour. The showstealer however are the mincemeat balls and smoking hot stuff like grilled prawns, Hyderabadi Chicken achari tikka and grilled mushroom. Adding to the taste was a chutney a healthy and tasty blend of tomato, mayo and corriander.

Roasted fish and cottage chese tikkas with side veggie salad taste divine on a cold winter evening. The succulent cheese and fish portion were as heavenly as the starters.

However, the extra sweet plum cake did not prove to be a perfect end to a sumptuous meal.

But if you like going on a long drive to a place that does not fall in a regular restaurant category, then People Tree is the place to be........
