Digvijay attacks Kejriwal, calls him 'megalomaniac' October 20, 2012
New Delhi, Oct 20 Congress leader Digvijay Singh Friday attacked India Against Corruption (IAC) activist Arvind Kejriwal saying he was a "self-serving ambitious megalomaniac having streak of Hitler".

"My opinion about you of a well-meaning crusader of public issues has now changed to a self-serving ambitious megalomaniac with scant regard for democracy," Singh wrote in his letter to Kejriwal.

Stating he would put questions to Kejriwal Saturday, Singh asked the activist if he would also dismiss "uncomfortable" queries like the RSS, Anna Hazare and yoga guru Ramdev did earlier.

In his letter, the Congress general secretary said when Y.P. Singh, former IPS officer and Kejriwal's former associate in civil society movement, called him a Hitler, he could see the streak in him.

Claiming that Kejriwal couldn't get along with social activist Aruna Roy, who was his mentor in the RTI movement, Singh said Kejriwal parted ways with activist Kiran Bedi and Anna Hazare.

He said Kejriwal used Hazare as a front to give his ambitions a touch of respectability.

He also claimed Kejriwal wanted him to recommend his name for being made a member of the Sonia Gandhi-led National Advisory Council.

"You wanted to meet her (Sonia Gandhi) and had requested me to propose your name for inclusion in the NAC. I did propose your name but failed. She took Aruna Roy," Singh said.
