More consultations needed on Telangana: Azad January 27, 2013
New Delhi, Jan 27 More consultations were needed on the demand for a separate Telangana and senior Andhra Pradesh leaders, including the chief minister, will be called to Delhi soon, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said Sunday.

"More consultations are needed on the issue... we will call Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, state Congress chief Botsa Satyanarayan and senior state leaders to Delhi... we hope to call them for consultations over the next few days," Azad, who is in charge of the state, told reporters.

He said it was for the union home ministry to fix a real time-limit for a decision on the vexed issue.

At the all-party meeting here Dec 28, Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde had said that the government will decide on the issue within a month.
