Indian, Australian Test squads reach Chandigarh October 15, 2008
Chandigarh, The Indian and Australian cricket teams arrived here late Tuesday evening by a chartered aircraft for the second Test beginning at Mohali on Friday.

The teams were immediately driven to the Taj Hotel but arrived 20 minutes late as their bus developed a mechanical snag along the way.

Visibly tired, the players of both teams did not talk to the media and disappointed scores of young fans who were waiting patiently for hours in the hotel's lobby to get autographs of their favourite players.

Some players like Sachin Tendulkar, Zaheer Khan, V.V.S. Laxman and Mathew Hayden moved towards the hotel restaurant while others preferred to go up to their rooms.

Spinner Harbhajan Singh accompanied the Indian team in the bus till the hotel and then boarded a car that was waiting for him.
