The one to suffer whenever there is a change of government are the bureaucratic cadres, especially those who have shared intimacies with the CM. And even more when the successor is a woman who hates her predecessor. Yes the person in question here is Anita Singh, Mulayam Yadav’s Secretary and alleged mistress. Wife of an IPS officer she was seen discussing files with CM Yadav till the wee hours of the night at his residence.

Enter Mayawati and Ms Anita Singh has been moved to some inane portfolio pushing meaningless files till her messiah gets her posted to some place better.

Meanwhile the blue eyed boy now is Shashank Shekhar Singh. Despite being a pilot who flew Raj Nath’s plane Mayawati has elevated him to the position of Cabinet Secretary – something that the bureaucracy is hating.

Seasoned officers like Anees Ansari are trying to find a position for themselves in the centre. Additional Chief Secretary he was hated by Amar Singh. Reason? He refused to let him flirt with his slender and beautiful designer wife Asma Hussein. Half his age she is the most glamorous babe in the cadres of Lucknow.

Rahul Gandhi is no longer with the Brazilian babe. He is instead head over heels with an Iranian. A ravishing Muslim beauty. And this time he has mom’s nod. Because the girls look ethnic and is like an olive branch to Muslim votes.

Meanwhile the other Luxor girl Priya Jain made a fool for herself recently at Orange Room throwing herself at Rahul Gandhi who took on the bait for etiquettes sake and then ran. A great one for night clubs he was a regular at Athena and now often goes to Capitol. Infact most of his evening is spent at Ashok. First at the spa Amatra and then at twelve in the night at Capitol.

The Jains are indeed a ruthless lot. First they took over the Times of India from father in law Dalmiyas. Then they systematically removed all brothers and kins from the ownership. Brother Sahu died a pauper and Alok Jain leads a retired mediocre life. All cursed their brother Ashok Jain.

The latest one to be shown the door by the two brothers is Yasheel Jain, Alok’s estranged son who was fending for himself working for cousin Vineet Jain. He was managing their modelling agency till he got the boot and was saved by FDCI who quickly got him a job with Percept Events.
