CAG coal report to be tabled soon August 8, 2012
New Delhi, Aug 8 Finance Minister P. Chidambaram Wednesday said the CAG report on the controversial coal block allocation will be tabled in parliament soon.

Refuting reports of delay in tabling it, the minister said the report had reached his ministry only at 2.30 p.m. on the last day of the budget session. Hence it could not be tabled earlier.

He said it was sent to the president on May 16 and the ministry got it back on May 22. "By that time the house was about to be adjourned.
