UPA government's failure caused insecurity among people: Jaitley October 12, 2008
Lucknow, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary Arun Jaitley Saturday alleged that the failure of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government to fight terrorism and economic recession caused a sense of insecurity among the people.

“The government has miserably failed on all fronts. Be it its approach to combat terrorism or deal with inflation or economic recession,” said Jaitley in a function organised by BJP's youth wing.

Taking into account the central government's alleged anti-national policies, the BJP will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls with the "Save Country" (Desh Bachao) slogan, the BJP leader said.

Jaitley said the BJP was the only political party that can rescue the country from the rising terror activities and inflation that has gripped the entire nation.
