BJP undecisive on waging war against UPA Kushal Jeena September 19, 2008
New Delhi, The top leadership of BJP is at sea over the issue of terrorism, whether to go all out war against the UPA government or to make subtle attack on the the issue.

Highly placed sources has said that if the party mount blistering attack then it could boomerang as during the NDA regime there were numerous terrorist attack particularly on the Parliament or Akshardham temple attack .

However, the soft peddling by the NDA government and the infamous Kandhar episode also adds much confusion.

Particularly the issue of terrorism can bear very little fruit as it can generate anti religion sentiment which BJP would not like to highlight, said senior functionary of RSS.

In the midst of all confusion BJP leadership would not risk Narender Modi to go all out on this front as his own record back home don't add much credence and the recent attack on the miniority population particularly Christian community on Karnataka and Orissa has left the party lot of soul searching.

Meanwhile, the issue of price rise which effects the common man and could generate lot of heat is fast dwindling as the major part of the exercise is being focused on the terrorism issue, interestingly former party chief and prime ministerial candidate L.K Advani's made frontal attack on the UPA government over the issue but hardly get any time to see the victims instead called for immediate election.

No senior leader of the party has so far paid visit to any hospital or inquire about their well being but to once dismay has only politicized the issue.

The irresponsible behaviour of the BJP has led to lot of criticism within the party particularly the posturing of Prime Ministerial candidate of BJP party, L.K.Advani.
