Allahabad Bank net down 53 percent this quarter July 18, 2008
Mumbai,Allahabad Bank has announced a net profit of $23.34 million (Rs.933.6 million) during the first quarter this fiscal, compared to $50.09 million (Rs.2 billion) for the corresponding period previous year, a fall of about 53 percent.

For the latest quarter ending June 30, the total income increased to $462.4 million (Rs.18.49 billion) from $383.77 million (Rs.15.35 billion) in the corresponding quarter last year.
