Infosys projects 28 percent revenue growth for second quarter dmanewsdesk July 11, 2008
Bangalore, Infosys Technologies Ltd has estimated a consolidated revenue of Rs.52.7 billion for the second quarter (July-September) of this fiscal (2008-09), projecting 28 percent growth year-on-year (YoY) over the corresponding period of last fiscal (FY 2008) under the Indian accounting practice.

In a notification to the stock exchanges Friday, the IT bellwether has also revised its guidance upwards for the entire fiscal to Rs.216 billion from its earlier estimation of Rs.202 billion, projecting about 30 percent YoY growth under the Indian accounting practice.

Under the US accounting practice, consolidated revenue for the second quarter is expected to be $1.2 billion, projecting 20 percent growth YoY, and $5.05 billion for the entire fiscal, a 21 percent growth YoY
