India who after winning the toss elected to bat, were 258 for 9 in 50 overs against Australia in the 2nd final of the CB series at Brisbane Cricket Ground on Tuesday.
Tendulkar had looked to be heading towards a second consecutive one-day ton but was brought undone by the part-time spin of Michael Clarke for 91. This may be his last innings in Australia. Tendulkar's departure followed the wickets of Robin Uthappa (30), Gautam Gambhir (15) and Yuvraj Singh (38), with Clarke improving his return to 2 for 48.
The master batsman looked comfortable in reaching his half-century, backing up the stellar century which guided India to victory in game one on Sunday night.
