I'll answer every question on Liberhan report: Kalyan Singh July 2, 2009
New Delhi: Kalyan Singh, former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Thursday said he was ready to face and answer every question if the report of the Liberhan Commission that probed the 1992 demolition of Babri Masjid was tabled in parliament.

"Now the report has come to the government and if the government wants then it can table the report in this session of parliament. There will be a debate on it, I have to say a lot and will face every question," Kalyan Singh told reporters.

Kalyan Singh denied that the report got delayed because of him. "The delay has not been because of me...I had given my testimonies two years back," he said.

The Liberhan Commission report on the Babri Masjid demolition, which was submitted Tuesday, has voluminous and exhaustive testimonies of Kalyan Singh and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders L.K. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi, according to a lawyer associated with the panel.

The 16th century mosque in Ayodhya was demolished Dec 6, 1992 by radical Hindu zealots who believed it was built on the birthplace of Lord Ram. At the time, Kalyan Singh was heading a BJP government in Uttar Pradesh and the Congress' P.V. Narasimha Rao was the prime minister
