Munde withdraws resignation April 22, 2008
New Delhi, April 22: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gopinath Munde on Tuesday withdrew his resignation from all party posts following a meeting with party leaders here.

Munde, who abruptly gave up the party posts on Sunday, met senior leader L.K. Advani and BJP president Rajnath Singh for talks aimed at resolving the crisis in the party's Maharashtra unit.

"Munde has withdrawn his resignations," a party source said after the talks.

Munde flew into New Delhi earlier on Tuesday along with son Dhananjay and niece Poonam Rao, who heads the youth wing of the party in Maharashtra and is the daughter of the late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan.
