BJP stages walkout in Lok Sabha March 5, 2008
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the opposition party in the Lok Sabha staged a walk out on Wednesday. The party staged the walkout, immediately after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's reply to the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the President's address, expressing dissatisfaction over the same.

Leader of the Opposition L K Advani rejected the charges leveled by Prime Minister on the previous BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government on issues like internal security and agriculture.

''All allegations on the NDA government are false and baseless,'' Advani said. The Prime Minister's reply had no mention about questions raised by the Opposition on crucial issues like internal security and the execution of the death sentence of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru, Advani said before leading the walkout.
