BIG 92.7 FM launches station in Sholapur Dmanewsdesk November 19, 2007
Hyderabad,Popular FM channel BIG 92.7 FM has launched its services in Sholapur, Maharashtra, taking its number of stations in the country to 38.

Announcing the launch Friday, Saurabh Dosi, director, west, BIG 92.7 FM said: "We are very excited about launching in Sholapur. We are the first private radio station in the city and have already created palpable excitement among the people. The programming mix of the station has been put together after much research and understanding of local requirements."

BIG 92.7 FM RJs will be entertaining the city as well as the adjoining areas of Pandharpur, Akkalkot, Mangalwedha and Tuljapur.

BIG 92.7 FM promises not only to entertain but to inform and empower the listener with utilities that one may take for granted. The station has designed utilities such as traffic and weather updates along with time checks and health tips to help optimise the listener's time management and health.

Another important programme offering of the station is the 'acknowledgement of local heroes in society'. It aims to honour the people who work relentlessly and voluntarily for the betterment of society.

BIG 92.7 FM, an Adlabs Films initiative, has made an investment of Rs.4 billion in transmission equipment, infrastructure and licensing.
