Anamika Choudhary becomes the champion in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs March 2, 2008
Anamika Choudhary, 12, of Assam won the popular music reality TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs at a glittering grand finale on Saturday.
A student of class seven, Anamika had started humming tracks since the age of two and since then her mother, herself a trained singer, groomed the girl.
In 2006, Debojit Saha of Silchar in Assam bagged the Sa Re Ga Ma musical show with the support of the people of the state. The volume of the votes that he garnered specially from his state flinged his rival. Of course, the regional media helped to unite the people of the state.
A few months back, Amit Paul from Shillong also shot to fame and created frenzy among the people despite missing the Indian Idol crown by a whisker.
